DESCRIPTION:Join us in Downtown Anchorage on September 30 for an all-ages event for Orange Shirt Day and Our World: Worldwide Day of Play.  \nOrange Shirt Day is a national day of remembrance and healing in the US and Canada for Indigenous communities whose children were taken to residential schools and denied access to their languages\, cultures and traditional learning experiences – including play.   \nPlay is powerful and helps connect kids to the world around them\, which is why we are excited to participate in Nickelodeon’s Our World: Worldwide Day of Play! We’re inviting friends and neighbors from all over the Anchorage area to come share games and activities from their communities. Our World: Worldwide Day of Play activities are made possible with the support of Association of Children’s Museums.
